Leo Hallissey, retired from architecture in 1990 and started potting soon afterwards. He moved to St Ives Cornwall in 1996 and found the Cornish land and seascapes an inspiration for his pots. The colours and textures found in the environment do influence his pots and encourage experiments. His pots are mostly stoneware and not always functional.
